The part where the battery goes (LED strip remote battery holder)
Free
A replacement battery-holder insert for the cheap remote controls that come with Chinese LED strip (backlight) kits, for when the original part has been lost or broken.
Two versions are included: one with slots for both a small CR1220 battery and a large battery if you cut out the unnecessary part (like the original, but easier to remove from the remote's casing), and one with a slot only for a large CR2025 battery, for those who want to forget about replacing batteries for years.
Print notes (from the creator): use a minimal layer height and a low print speed of about 50 mm/s. Printed with a 0.4 mm nozzle in PETG, which is flexible enough. Other settings are not specified on the source listing.
Included files: compartment-for-1-battery.stl (primary model file), compartment-for-2-batteries.stl, compartment-for-2-batteries-just-like-the-original.stl, a STEP file named assembling-a-case-for-boards.stp that was bundled in the creator's download, and the creator's description PDF. All files except the primary STL are separate downloadable attachments.
