- To Operate the Service: To connect Makers and Customers, facilitate job posting and acceptance workflows, and enable communication between users.

- To Process Payments: To facilitate payments between Customers and Makers through third-party services.
- To Handle Disputes: To resolve disputes that arise between users, including freezing payments during the dispute resolution process.
- To Provide AI Assistance: To offer an AI service to assist Customers with selecting models, materials, technologies, and order details. (Note: The AI can make mistakes).
- To Enable Delivery: To integrate third-party services for the delivery of finished parts.
- For Community Features: To share information about orders and production units publicly on a map to show supply and demand.
- For Moderation: To delete models or block accounts in cases of illegal activities or any activity deemed damaging to the Service, users, or third parties. The final decision rests with Make Local, and we do not take an obligation to provide an explanation.
- For Reputation and Trust: To use user interaction history and reputation as a mechanism to deter bad behavior.

- With Makers: Customer 3D models will be accessible to Makers who are associated with potential orders. Makers also receive information about available print jobs filtered by criteria relevant to their machines.
- With Customers: Customers can see lists of open jobs and potentially details about Makers accepting their jobs.
- Publicly: Information about orders and production units will be shared publicly to visualize supply and demand on a map. Users can also choose to publish their 3D models/IP publicly.
- With Third-Party Service Providers: We rely on third-party services to process payments, handle delivery, and provide AI assistance. These providers may have access to necessary information to perform their services. The payment processing vendor has not yet been finally chosen.
- With Other Users (User-Initiated Sharing): Users can publish their 3D models and other intellectual property objects on the platform. They can set access levels (public, private, shared with specific users). We do not take responsibility if users share their intellectual property with others.
- In Case of Disputes or Legal Actions: We will handle disputes. Information may be shared as needed to resolve disputes or in response to legal requests or perceived illegal activities.
